During our latest day in Monaco I saw not one, not two but four test cars of the Porsche 911R driving through Monaco. This was not what I expected to see in Monaco. t is the reminder of a lost childhood. It smells of petrol, of asphalt, of the race track. It can tell you tales of historic races, of victories and records, of naturally aspirated engines and manual transmissions, of red stripes and of the Porsche logo on its side. The Porsche 911 R was built specifically for motor racing in 1967. Now it is back – in a limited edition of just 991 units. Liked the video?
