#Shorts Byblos, Lebanon, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, has been influenced at various points in its long and storied history by the Phoenicians, the Romans, the Egyptians, and the Ottoman Empire. Today, it is one of the most underrated cities in the world with multiple castles (including the Byblos Citadel & Smar Jbeil), the Byblos Archaeological site, beach resorts, sunset bars, and an all-around fantastic vibe. If you do visit Byblos, Lebanon, some suggestions for how you could spend a few days include: - Visit the Byblos Citadel, & Smar Jbeil Castle (about a 15-minute drive from historic Byblos) - Stroll the Byblos Archaeological Site & Roman Ruins (same complex as the Byblos Citadel) - Grab a drink at Kina, Oasis, or one of the other sunset bars of Byblos - Walk the Byblos Souks and dancing the night away at the resto bars during the summertime - Relax at the public beaches of Byblos or enjoying the resorts like Ocean Blue (fantastic restaurant there as well), Eddesands, or Whitelace - Dine Mediterranean style at Grecco or Pepe's Fishing Club - Find the rooftop stop above the bougainvillea vines (pictured in the thumbnail of this video) and take Instagrammable pics While there are many other things to do in Byblos and Lebanon as a whole, we hope this gives you a headstart for your next trip to Lebanon.
