We asked CurbFreeCoryLee for his tips on how he books flights: Here’s the exact process of how I book a hotel as a wheelchair user: 1) I go on a booking site, such as Skyscanner, to browse hotels and find options that work for my budget. 2) Next, I call the hotel and ask approximately one million questions about accessibility. I also request photos of the accessible room. 3) Once I have confirmed that the hotel will work for my accessibility needs, I book a room online (usually Skyscanner to get the best price!). After booking a room, I call the hotel again and give them my confirmation number/ensure that they are putting me in the accessible room. Yes, it is a lot of work to book a hotel room as a wheelchair user, but it’s worth it once I get there, so I don’t really mind it. I’ll always prefer booking hotels over being at home bored. 😂😂 Follow Cory's adventure: https://www.instagram.com/curbfreecorylee/
