On the Virgin Hyperloop pod, the first passengers were Josh Giegel (Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer) and Sara Luchian (Director of Passenger Experience). For the first passenger test, the top speed reached was 48 m/s (172.8 km/h, 107.3 miles/h).
