Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris appeared with union leaders at a rally in the battleground state of Michigan on the Labor Day Holiday on Monday (September 2). "For generations in Detroit and across our nation, the brothers and sisters of labor have stood together to righteously demand fair pay, better benefits, and safe working conditions, " Harris told the crowd in Detroit. In August, the United Auto Workers launched a U.S-wide effort to mobilize its one million active and retired workers to vote for Harris in the Nov. 5 election, offering the Democrat a potential boost in critical battleground states.
