Over the past few weeks, there have been lots of sensationalist headlines about Amazon making its first loss since 2015 and how subsequently Jezz Bezos has seen $20 billion wiped off the value of his Amazon shares. The news articles also mention that Amazon's e-commerce sales are down 3%, with many headlines implying that the small drop in e-commerce revenue is somehow responsible for the loss. However, that is simply not the case and when you read the full articles it quickly becomes clear that Amazon is doing just fine and Amazon is not dead!
