On September 8th around 10 PM, multiple people in the area of Las Vegas Boulevard and Richmar began calling 911 to report a large fire at the Las Vegas Spa in abandoned building 24. Clark County Fire Department quickly responded to the scene along with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Clark County Firefighters began protecting the surrounding buildings that were catching as the main building was fully involved. Firefighters were able to put out the fire that extended to the surrounding buildings and then focused on the primary building which was a total loss. Clark county Fire Department Arson Investigators responded to the scene as the fire was caused my homeless who broke into the building. A kind man who owns the property named Dennis Snap came up to me and asked if he would like to be interviewed. He explains the history on the building and shows the building that caught and allowed me to use his video that he shot on his phone right after the first units arrived on scene.
