A tragic incident in Jalgaon, Maharashtra has resulted in 12 deaths and 7 critical injuries. Passengers on the Jalgaon Express jumped off the train due to a rumour of fire, only to be struck by the Bengaluru-Delhi Express on an adjacent track. The incident occurred after a chain pull on the Pushpak Express caused a spark, mistaken for a fire.
