AMD’s next gen Ryzen 7000 CPUs for the desktop are on the horizon and with Intel also gearing up to release their next gen Raptor Lake CPUs, the questions on everyone’s mind is will they be competitive against Intel and will they be able to offer good value as well. There were some recent leaks that have come out surrounding Zen 4 and ryzen 7000 which gives us a better idea on when these CPUs will hit store shelves and along with that some promising performance leaks have also surfaced. My biggest concern comes down to pricing. If the 7600X has less cores than 13600K, matches it in gaming at best, and is slightly more expensive along with expensive platform costs, then Intel will look like the better buy for the consumer.
