As a Longwood native, I had always driven through town and not really questioned the old buildings that sat there. Over the years many of them were restored by the Longwood Historic Society. When I started doing this youtube project I knew I wanted to learn the history of these buildings. Luckily for me, I didn't have to look far for information. The Longwood Historic Society has a lovely walking tour on its website. If you live nearby or are just visiting stop by and enjoy a self-guided tour of our town's history. Most of the pictures in this video came from either the Longwood Historic society website or google. Where do you think I should travel next?
