Buffleheads and Barrow's Goldeneye are two species of Goldeneyes - diving ducks frequently seen around Vancouver in the winter months in large rafts. They diver underwater searching for invertebrates. The first pair in the video are Buffleheads (the males are mostly white, with a black patch on their back; females are grey/brown). Barrow's Goldeneye are the second group in the larger raft of ducks - males are black & white, and females are brown & grey. Drone video shot at 4k (with digital zoom) using DJI Mini 2.
