Now if they were super, super close together, or perhaps even stacked, and we will talk about further stacking of components in future videos, especially when it comes to Zen 6, so make sure you subscribe for that. But in any case, yeah, it would be different if that were the case, but unfortunately when you do have to travel from say a left CCD down to the IO die and then back up to the right CCD because you have some information spilling over from one into the other, well it can cause some issues, and in the case of something like the 7950X3D, this was made even worse because unfortunately they just had the 3D cache on one CCD and not the other. And this caused all manner of scheduling issues to the point where I simply don't recommend the 7950X3D, and I think if you're super into gaming you should pick up the 7800X3D and just not have to worry about all that hassle and just know your processor is going to be working as intended.
