Checking out the Spa World Korean Bath House in Katy, Texas area for the first time. My favorite korean bath house in Houston is Gangnam Spa Healing Paradise. So I wanted to see the difference between the two. But, then you get over it after your body relaxes in the pools and you see how good your skin looks afterwards. After checking out Spa World, I still would say I prefer Gangnam spa due to the Mugwort Tea bath, heated floors, and other facilities that they have that I prefer better. I do enjoy the fact that Spa World caters to the family because I do want to take my child to enjoy some of the facilities one day. I did enjoy the Orcher Rooms, Forest Room, and the Himalayan Room. Unfortunately the Fire Dome was way too hot for me to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. I also enjoyed the fact they had smoothies, coffee, and cheaper snacks than the restaurant. I also did not like the fact that I had to pay to rent a full sized towel when at Gangnam, they provide you one with your admission fee. The restaurant is way overpriced, but I guess you pay for the convenience. Your admission fee is for the day, but as soon as you leave, you can’t come back unless you pay another admission fee. I like that there is an actual theater. They also have more options than just the spa. Apparently, they have a fitness room, but I think it is only available for VIP members.
