Then wonder no more… Professor Anne-Maree Keenan will explain the in’s and out’s of developing a research question, that will make your grant application stronger. Anne-Maree is Chair of Applied Health Research and Deputy Director of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR’s) Leeds Biomedical Centre (BRC). A podiatrist by background, Anne-Maree’s research focus is the prevalence, impact and interventions of musculoskeletal disease of the lower limb, with a focus on osteoarthritis. Anne-Maree has had a long commitment to developing the research leaders of the future: she is as Associate Dean of the NIHR Academy responsible for research capacity building across the NIHR Infrastructure and was the BRC Training Lead from 2011 to 2019. As an NIHR Senior Investigator, Chair of the NIHR Advocates and the Lead Podiatry Advocate, she speaks fluent NIHR.
