In this lesson we'll add the consonant diagraph CK to previously taught letters and sounds. A digraph is when two letters come together to make one sound. I will guide you through the sound of CK, the rules for reading and writing words with CK, practicing sentences that include CK words, learning new sight words and reviewing letters, sounds, and spelling rules we have already learned. This lesson is excellent for homeschooling, parents, teachers and tutors looking for effective literacy resources to assist beginning readers who are learning phonics, struggling readers who need extra support, learners with dyslexia or other reading difficulties, and English language learners working on reading, writing and pronunciation.
