Relief from neuropathy 🙌🏼 Neuropathy can be tricky. It can be a side effect from: medications like those part of chemotherapy, diabetes, stroke, and also can occur on its own ☝🏽 Common places for neuropathy include feet, lower legs and hands 🦶🦵🏽✋🏽 It can be described many different ways but it can feel like pins, needles, numbness, tingling, and can impact muscle function 👀 Research has shown exercise can have a potential positive impact on pain from neuropathy, decreased sensation and muscle function 👏🏼 Here are three exercises that can help to stimulate the nerve endings, provide nourishment and decrease potential pain. Choose 1 or all 3- as long as they feel good to you ✅ ⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: for safety, use support for standing exercises as balance can be impacted. Also when going barefoot for exercises, please do a foot check to make sure there are no injuries and also be mindful of where you are stepping- making sure it’s clear of obstacles ⚠️ #neuropathy #neuropathytreatment #footneuropathy #diabeticneuropathy #peripheralneuropathy #physicaltherapist #arthritis #chemoneuropathy Not medical advice.
