Offered by the University of Missouri (MU), the 3+1+1 degree program in personal financial planning enables Chinese students to begin their financial planning studies at participating Chinese universities and conclude their academic careers at MU. The program gives these students the skills they need to return to China and work successfully as financial planners. To earn a bachelor's degree through the 3+1+1 personal financial planning program, students complete three years of undergraduate studies at participating Chinese universities and one year at MU. Then, they may add another year to their studies at MU to earn a master's degree. Graduates also have the opportunity to sit for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam.
