Ever think to yourself, "I wish I was in an exciting location. Everything around here is boring." I know that thought crosses my mind quite often. Yet... when it does, I pick up a camera and force myself to photograph stuff that I can see from where I'm sitting. That gets me out of the funk with the challenge of being a bit creative. So tonight, I am sitting in the same old boring radio studio that I've sat in for the last 17 plus years, and challenged myself to photograph the boring in a creative way... ... You may think, "yeah, but my lounge is boring". Any familiar place gets boring. "Yeah, but you have a top notch camera and lenses." Well, I just used a 12 year old bridge camera with a tiny sensor. "Yeah, but you have great software to process images with." Nah, I just used Snapseed on my little tablet. "Yeah, but you are surrounded by exotic equipment". I just shot a light, a phone, a coffee cup, a clipboard, a record player.
