This week we look at focus stacking with the Fuji XF 16mm f1.4. The specs say it focuses to 5.9 inches which is about 1.5 inches from the front element. Wow! It can make for some very interesting images. So I thought I would photograph a MIni Cooper model and see what I could get for results. Since f16 is not enough at the minimum distance I decided to focus stack four images and doing a mini focus stacking tutorial in Photoshop in auto stacking. The results speak for themselves as PS did a great job of stacking the images. The Fuji XF 16mm 1.4 is a fabulous prime lens for the Fuji system and most Fuji folks know this. I wanted to have a little fun with it.
