The Sontarans lift the Lupari defence wall just as the Flux event passes, leaving the Dalek and Cyber fleets vulnerable to consumption by the anti-matter wave. Despite being seemingly annihilated by the Flux in this scene, evidently some Daleks survived, as they appear again in the very next episode, Eve of the Daleks.
