1/20/2020 – Today was turning out to be an unscheduled rest day but as the saying goes, something is better than nothing so I did a time test to see how long it would take me to complete 100 bodyweight squats. It’s probably been almost 15 years since I did a test like this and I don’t know what my time was the last time. Problem today is that I didn’t know how to count so I did 100 reps. When reviewing the video, I was able to get these other times: 50 reps in 1:58, 100 reps in 4:18 and 110 reps in 4:48. Heart rate statistics for the analytical types - my maximum heart rate (MHR) is 180 bpm - actually, might be a few bpm higher. Beginning HR = 110 bpm Average HR = 107 bpm (59 percent of MHR) Peak HR = 147 bpm (82 percent of MHR) I'm a 64-year old middle-aged man doing my best to maintain fitness, health and wellness.
