After Kyrgyzstan, our group went to Bukhara, Uzbekistan (бухара in Russian). We hired a tour guide who showed us around the downtown including several mosques, public squares, a carpet factory, a special weaving center, and more. At night, we met our Bukhara tour guide again and she was able to get us exclusive access to visit one of the beautiful mosques lit up with special light.
